Today she feels like a quintessential woman. Beautiful, replete in herself, Shakti. She was little when she discovered that she was fierce. And strong. And full of fire. And that not even she could hold herself back, because her passion burned brighter than her fears.You cannot have her without the darkness, or the star-light that hides within her, or the madness that makes her. Look at the saree she wears – it’s a zari saree that drapes her like a flame, a flame that she chooses to be in. She remembers a picture of her mother on the day her parents got wedded. As a child, in her little way, she was mesmerized. Through every time she adorned herself in a saree, the thought of her mother in that picture would float in.
Today she feels what it must have felt like…a bit wistful, but curious about the adventure that life is.
